May finished off strong for Garon and looking forward there are many stories to continue and new ones to write. Garon is hard at work on book 5 of the Nightlord series so we are trying to leave him alone and let him work. He did take the time to offer up some words for this month’s Chronicle.

Sheesh. Some people. Here I am, working on the fifth book of the “Nightlord” series and They want me to divert my attention to some—Ow! I’m doing it, I’m doing it!
So, hello, and welcome to another installment of being vaguely social. Hi!
There are a lot of people asking about “Knightfall,” book four, and when it will be out on audio. Last I heard, it was supposed to be late May (which, at the time of this writing, it still is) or early June. I’ll double-check with Podium Publishing, but as far as I know, that’s still the schedule. If I can get a definite date, I’ll be sure to post it everywhere I can—Facebook, Twitter, website, and so on. I won’t leave you in the dark, I promise.
Well, assuming the dark is feeling friendly. A hostile dark is another story.
As I may have mentioned, I’m working on book five of the “Nightlord” series. I’d say it’s going well, all things considered and despite the pestiferous insistence I do other things. I’m about 100k words into the first draft and busily clicking away! I think I’ve already got some good stuff, and Eric has already made a number of observations:
“People are often okay as individuals or small groups, but once you start getting to the point where you have governments, they become capricious and unpredictable.”
“…there are always those annoying few who view anyone else’s misfortune or disadvantage as an opportunity for themselves.”
“Damn it, people are so inconvenient!”
“It does no good to argue with stupid.”
I think that last one may be more profound than originally intended! And more relevant to reality.
Okay, I’m off to write more book!
