The Chronicle is three months old! We hope that you enjoy the little tidbits offered within its electronic pages. Most of all, this is a chance to let Garon message everyone who might want to hear from him with his own musings. Please, share this newsletter with your friends and family using the buttons above and below. There is a comment section down below so feel free to leave all of the remarks you want! The big surprise reveal is that Garon Whited has a new novel already to go. May 1st is the date you can get your hands on DragonHunters.
Note from Garon:
So, here we are. Four books out of the six for the “Nightlord” series are out and I’m diligently working on the fifth. What happens? People are already asking if there will be anything after the sixth. “But, what about Eric? Will we get any more Eric stories? Or are you going to kill him off?”
That would be telling. However, between book four, “Knightfall,” and book five, “Void,” Eric finally has something he’s never had before: Time off. Instead of being in a coma or imprisoned or dropped straight from one book to the next, he gets time to mind his own business and play with his own projects.
What would you do with an empty Earth, legions of robot minions, and a few years of relative peace and quiet? How is that different from what Eric would do with them? What other projects has he wanted to work on?
Later, after I finish the series, it’s possible I might go back and sandwich a few short stories into this moderately-quiet period of his life. How he took a month off to arm and fortify some village against the savage tribes of armadillo-men wouldn’t be too unreasonable, to say nothing of his various Halloween shenanigans. So, even if he gets turned into radioactive hamburger at the end of book six, there may be more of him to come.
On a lighter note, I also have other stories to tell. “Dragonhunters” is coming out in early May in Kindle, hardback, and paperback. It’s got almost nothing to do with Eric; he merely makes a cameo in the beginning. The rest of the story doesn’t involve him at all, and I think it’s a darn good story, myself. If you haven’t read the “Dragonhunt” short story, I encourage you to do so. It’s basically the first chapter of the book, which is more than a little peculiar, considering how that short story ends.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to not hand out spoilers? So much to write, so many ideas… It’s hard to keep everyone up to date. There’s so much to do!
Now, if you will excuse me, there’s a grumpy vampire with a hidden interuniversal gateway who is about to be deeply outraged. Gotta handle that before he starts yelling at me again. I get no sleep when he’s in one of his moods…
May the monster under your bed be Fred!

Will Knightfall be available on audible?
Knightfall is being read currently by Sean and Garon is hoping to have it out very soon. I would look for it first part of June so you can be surprised if it gets done sooner. It takes time after a novel is published for the audible part since they have to read the finished book.
Thanks for the comment!
Garon, congrats on your new book Dragon Hunters. And so happy to know things are going to be better for Eric. Love your work, is excellent. I’m waiting for Knightfall in Audible. Don’t let Fred yell at you!
SIX Nightlord books, you say? Six?
That is . . . (We are sorry to interrupt this comment, but we are currently experiencing an adjective drought. Please enter any positive adjective denoting excitement and delight, and thank you for your kind assistance.)
WOOT!
We were excited when we heard it would be six. Dragonhunters is a great book too. We are trying to figure out how he was able to do it all at once. -CWD
